Goodbye June ‘09
June was my busiest month so far. This is the month that drove my patience and endurance to next level. I got to know the people around me better, learn to take charge like an adult should (?) and planned my schedule well. Best of all, I am glad that the renovation is officially over, hurray ! No more boring supervision at home. T_T
Freshly painted room in lilac, same furnishing and sparkling marble floor after the polished. The only thing missing - a proper glass display for my collection of toys. Maybe I should invest in custom-made wardrobe and glass cabinet since we are definitely going to stay for good…
Hence my time was spent helping Auntie Lilian to edit some 150++ of photos who had just returned from her Switzerland and Austria trip. A simple and soft-spoken woman, she really inspired me to work hard (and save hard) if I want to make that dream trip comes true. Conquer the whole of Asia, especially an intensive travel to Japan ! Gonna fork out more time and money to continue my Japanese lesson which was on hiatus for 7 years. One day, I hope to be capable of reading and understanding the language. So far I am relying on Smart.fm to continue my learning. It is a really cool e-learning site with games.
While a couple of friends went overseas (Swizterland, Austria, Vietnam, Netherlands, Denmark etc), me went to Malaysia to catch the durian season. Not a big fan of durian, but I enjoyed the quality time there with the little cousins and family.
School has since reopened for the young ones, I’ve resumed work too. Met my primary school classmates, poly friends, weizhong etc. Still a few I’ve missed out, you know who you are…. I’m sorry. Give me some time, will arrange…
Anyway, I am still sicked and trying hard to recover asap. Minor sore throat and stuff. Oh, tend to fall sick easier these past few years and hope taking the fish oil as basic supplement will improve my immune system a bit…
